Mick Ellis

This is Mick Ellis, (aka Pimp 'Er Nell) a very shady character who calls himself M'sieur Pimp or ‘Nell’ for short. Er... No he doesn’t! It’s M’sieur Pimp-er-Nell who is also known as M'sieur Eyeful Towers when he’s up The Cross.(Madame doesn’t understand that bit, which is a blessing according to M’sieur Le Gendarme!) Anyway, it’s no wonder he missed his calling completely!

M’sieur Pimp-er-Nell is very very almost famous and therefore has no fortune which is his own fault, mainly because he spent too much time supporting stars and forgot to pretend to BE one, like the stars do! Therefore he ended up having no name which is why we called him Nell (after a Scarlett Lady – which has nothing to do with anything).
Anyway, he toured China and Papua New Guinea & all over Australia with corporate acts, did the graveyard shift on 4ZZZ in the early 90’s, was in the studio band on the Optus Midday Show and backed Rick Price, Kamahl, Joan Osbourne etc. etc..
(ZZzzz) He played with Wylde Child, Black Sorrows, Tim Carter and The Hippos.
Frogs hired M’sieur Pimp ‘Er Nell when they were desperate, right? HE claims that Russell was trying to get him to play a part in ‘A Brilliant Mind Part II’ but Nell couldn’t find his brilliant... er.......

After that, Nell moved to Sydney and found out that Frogs were looking for a drummer
So he turned up and asked the Manager ‘What is Frogs on Toast?’ and The Manager (M’sieur Boney Part) he said “YES!’
And so Nell’s future as a BIG FROGS MEMBER was .........er, oh, mm...... future as a Frogs Par Tiss ‘ee Pant was never in doubt. HE fat in perfectly.
